Mike Goldwater, born in 1951, is an award-winning documentary photojournalist and a founding member of the internationally acclaimed photo agency Network Photographers that ran from 1981 to 2005. He produced self-assigned and commissioned photo-stories for British and international magazines and over his career he has worked in more than 70 countries. He covered conflicts in Cambodia, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Liberia, Georgia, Bosnia and Rwanda, winning two World Press awards and the Tom Hopkinson Prize for UK Magazine Photographer of the Year.
